These terms apply to the use of atelierartofschneiderei.art and set out the general basis on which Atelier Art of Schneiderei GmbH accepts bespoke tailoring, alteration, repair and design work.

2. Use of this website

This website describes our services. Its content is for general information and does not form an offer. We take care to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee that it is always complete or current.

Texts, graphics and design on this website belong to Atelier Art of Schneiderei GmbH. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

3. Enquiries and orders

Sending a request through the website or by email does not create a contract. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order, its scope, price and expected timing to you individually, in writing or by email.

Because bespoke garments are made to one person’s measurements, they cannot be resold. Changes requested after cutting has begun may affect the price and timing, and we will agree them with you before continuing.

4. Fittings and measurements

The fit of a bespoke garment depends on accurate measurements and on your attendance at fittings. Please tell us about any changes, for example in weight or posture, that may affect the fit while your garment is being made.

5. Alterations and repairs

When you leave a garment with us, we will describe the work we have agreed to do. Older, delicate or damaged garments carry a risk that some restoration cannot fully reverse wear or damage. We will explain any such risk before starting.

Please collect finished garments within a reasonable period after we tell you they are ready.

6. Prices and payment

Prices are quoted individually for each commission, depending on the garment, the cloth and the work involved. Payment terms, including any deposit, are stated in the order confirmation.

7. Liability

We are liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from this site.

8. Privacy

How we handle your personal data, including measurements, is described in our privacy policy.

9. Applicable law and venue

These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Zürich, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory rules protecting consumers.
