2. Data we process
When you contact us through the form on this website or by email, we process your name, your email address, the service you are interested in and the content of your message.
When you commission a garment or an alteration, we also process the information needed to make it: your body measurements, fitting notes such as posture and preferred fit, your choices of cloth and style, the garments you leave with us, and the details needed to arrange appointments and invoicing.
We ask only for what the work requires. Body measurements are personal information and we treat them with the same care as your contact details.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To draft patterns, cut, fit and finish your garments, and to carry out alterations and repairs.
- To keep your measurements on file so later orders can be made from them, if you wish.
- To meet our accounting and legal obligations.
4. The contact form on this website
The form on this website checks your entries in your browser. Information you enter is used only to handle your request. We do not use your details for advertising.
5. Cookies, analytics and fonts
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking tools. Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. Google may process this data outside Switzerland. More information is available in Google’s privacy policy.
Our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP address, date and time of access and the page requested, in order to deliver the website securely.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers we need to run the business, such as our email and hosting providers, or where the law requires it.
7. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted once they are no longer needed. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Swiss law requires. Measurements and fitting notes are kept for as long as you remain a client, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
8. Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, request a copy, and ask for it to be corrected or deleted. You can also object to processing. To do so, write to wood19chich1@gmail.com. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
9. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
